It’s summer!

August 1, 2007

I have been emailed by a few people asking if I am okay.  I am okay, it is just summer.  I have had family visiting on and off and have been busy with Sierra since she is out of school for another 2 weeks.

My weekends have gone by fast.  We have finally gone through all of the boxes since we moved.  We are having another garage sale this weekend to really get rid of some stuff and then will freecycle or give to goodwill the remainder.

We went to the fair.  Honestly, the displays were not as good as some past years.  The kids loved the rides and the animals.

I am almost finished with my sockapalooza 4 sock, due to be mailed tomorrow.  I will finish it tonight.  I am not worried.  That is the only knitting or crochet I have done.  I have been drawing some designs in a sketch book.

My side/stomach pain was manageable for the past few weeks.  However, then I ate some pistachio nuts and the next day the pain was just terrible.  It is still really bad.

On a happier note, I bought a new car.  It is a Toyota Matrix.  Sierra helped pick out the color, which is a light blue/light purple color.

Sorry I haven’t blogged or been around online much.  It is summer.

Tomorrow or Friday I am going to post about my socka 4 socks and also about an awesome blog contest that I won.

  1. I was wondering about you last night.
    Glad your just busy!

  2. Summers are for enjoying! Sorry to hear about your tummy troubles.

  3. Has the doctor considered diverticulitus? (sp, to lazy to get med dictionary out) Nuts and seeds are among the things that set off attacks. My daughter may have it, but they just keep brushing things off because of her size.

  4. It seems to be the summer lull, doesn’t it? Congrats on the new car!

  5. Congrats on the car! It’s the season. I just got a new Ford Escort. 🙂

Enjoy the weekends with family. 🙂

  6. Diverticulitus came to my mind, too. My IBS has been in remission since I’ve been eating so much healthier. You may want to give that a real go.
